Innomatic Instrument Company (Innomatic AB), located in Mariestad Sweden,
was founded in 1968 for the purpose of building and supplying instruments
for the continuous measurement of process variables in the pulp and paper
industry.
The Innomatic Freeness Tester is well known for its continuous on-line
measurement of pulp freeness or drainage in the manufacturing of pulp and
paper. Approximately 1500 such instruments are presently installed in pulp
and paper mills throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa,
and Australia.
Innomatic Instrument Company is also manufacturing the worlds
first continuous on-line measuring device for Fiber Charge (Streaming Potential).
The instrument is specifically designed to operate in the difficult environs
of the paper machine. This advanced high- technology device allows the
paper industry to optimize chemical usage at wet end of the paper machines.
Additionally, the Fiber Charge Analyzer allows operators a "Window of Opportunity"
in the study and control of chemical additives to the paper making process.
